Every single trade union member is part of the trade union movement. However, since around 1.2 million people individually and without appropriate organisation would achieve little, there are trade unions to which members belong, depending on their job. All together they are represented in the ÖGB, the umbrella organisation.

If you don't know which trade union is responsible for you, then send us an e-mail stating your job title, the name of the sector you work in, or the name of the company you are employed by. We will tell you your responsible trade union.
